You may discard an army Doom character card from your hand rather than pay Dr. Hauptmann's recruit cost. Activate -> Target army Doom attacker you control gets +X ATK this attack, where X is equal to the cost of that attacker. A brilliant scientist and inventor, Hauptmann helped create Doom's robot army.
